This is not gonna work for long time. But as long as the buds are covered in ice and snow and the temperatures are low, they will look this pretty... always this pretty.
Shot those at my mum's garden after the first cold nights. The roses she grows, and she has quite a few nice ones there, were still blooming. Or at least trying to. Some managed to open, but some stayed as buds.
When it gets warmer they will just fade. The cold damaged the petals and the bush has gone dormant for winter.
