There comes a time that I think I got the hang on the cactus thing. I know what they like and what to avoid. Some are more fussy than others, but I got it all figure out. I control the pests more or less, they bloom and grow.
And then one that was supposed to be an easier to grow dies. And I have to rethink it all again. Where did I go wrong and what did I miss? Rearranging the placements, cutting on water... or maybe they need more.
Never ending learning!
This is Gymnocalycium Baldianum I had... had, cause it is on of the overconfidence victims (yea, sounds dramatic I know). but I liked this one a lot. And I was really pissed of at myself for killing it. It had beautiful, dark pink flowers and the buds.. oh those are my favourite cactus buds ever!
I have another one that I grew from seed I picked from the dead one when it was still alive. I so hope I know how what to do.
