Fluffy Dittrichia viscosa

The joys of Autumn...
Things get either way red and yellow or turn to fluff :)

Those are Dittrichia viscosa seeds. They behave a bit like dandelions. First they bloom with very yellow flowers and then they turn to round fluffy balls. When they are dry they will also try to fly away as far as possible to colonize bigger and bigger areas. Those were a little bit wet when I shot them.

Pretty thing, aren't they? There is not much to shoot right now... but there is tons of those growing around!
