Not the first sunrise(second actually), but the first one I managed to shoot.
And even though it was quite boring I like how the sun sneaked and peaked thought the gap in the clouds just for about 10 minutes. The first thought I had when I saw it was "The Eye".. like from LOTR ;)

The sky was all plain grey and the temperature miraculously dropped to winter levels right when the new year started. Like if it was just waiting for the opportunity.

I added time stamps under the photos so you see it all lasted just a few minutes really. After the last shot below the sun hid again and stayed hidden all day long.
Dull, cloudy day made me wanna turn the music on and make orchid inspection. Poor things were so neglected last year! Some I forced to grow in clay pebbles as an experiment and they did not like it. Some I just simply didn't water enough, some got terrible bugs. But I will make it up to them. Bugs were removed, water added and I made a list of which one needs to be repoted. They will be fine :)
A little OT, but that is so related to the sunrise :p
