I miss seeing those little buggers. I really do. The friendliest of those stingy ones in my opinion. So friendly that if they only wanted to I would happily let them sit on my hand and rest.

In spring when the rosemary bushes (that's the flowers on photos) bloom around they are all over them! And since those are planted like a regular shrubs near the roads, car parks and in parks, there is plenty of occasions to shoot the little fellas. Slower and bigger than bees they are easy object. Plus they are so adorably furry!

The rosemary flowers were a real surprise for me. This is the herb we all use for cooking and we always had a bush at home. But it didn't bloom for us - maybe because it was kept at home and regularly eaten :p. In Portugal they grow directly in the soil and bloom very heavily in early spring.
