What can I say... they are pretty much irresistible. Especially seen though the camera lens.

I have this violet standing on my kitchen table. So I see it every day. It blooms few times a year and I am so used to see the flowers that I didn't even think of shooting it. It became more common and nothing with wow factor.

And then I moved it to a different spot and when the sun came out...
lets say I found the wow again!
All that sparkle and the glitter on the petals. It is just so amazing. The very common African Violet is a precious diamond now.

Look at that bubbly texture! You cannot feel it under your fingers or even see. The petals are just very thin and get bruised easily.

The colour on the photos came out a bit too pink. It is more pale red. Very unusual.
Now I just have to make sure my cat doesn't eat them. She tends to sneak around and bite off the flowers when they open.
The Violets must taste really good!
