On this occasion, I am here again to share one of my newest works of art, namely a portrait of the painting "Jim Carey". He is a very entertaining comedic actor whose antics and humor make people happy to see him. I made this painting on an A4 drawing book using several colored water pencils, especially with dark brown to light brown, then a little black and cream colors.
For the process as usual, I first made a sketch, then proceeded to fill in all the colors for the skin, hair and eyes. The process of coloring using a pencil does take quite a long time, which is about 6 hours, that's for a small image size. But if we make with a larger size, the time we spend will be even longer (that is if we use colored pencils).
