@dfinney and @summertooth here again, to share a little update on our fundraising efforts for @enginewitty.

First off, THANK YOU!!! Thank you for your love, thank you for your generosity, thank you for sharing our original post. We stayed on trending for almost three days and received over 1500 upvotes. AMAZING!!! With the craziness and animosity in the world today, it is incredibly heartening to see so many people come together to help a friend in need. You are all the absolute best.

Thanks to each of you we have raised the following funds to benefit @enginewitty:

• $166.838 HBD to the @ewfund wallet
• 1018 Hive to @enginewitty's wallet
• $266.635 HBD to @enginewitty's wallet
• $550 Amazon Gift Cards
• $100 Walmart Gift Cards

That is almost $2,200 at today's Hive to USD exchange rate. @enginewitty also reports he has received money via PayPal from folks he doesn't even know! The payout from our previous post, this post and any future posts will also be added to this total.

If you are still feeling generous here is a recap of some ways to help.

In good news, @enginewitty reports he and the girls have found a place to live. He will be cashing in some of the gift cards shortly to get the family clothes and groceries. He plans to use the Hive/HBD on beds for the girls and a few other furniture items. Also, the family cats have been found alive and well.

For those of you in @thealliance who know Witty well, you may want to send him a hat. All but four were lost to the fire. We all know how much that guy loves a stylin' hat. :)
