There was a period in my life when I did not have a camera. Before serving in the army, I took pictures on film Zenit-11 and Kiev-19, but after I returned home, I did not pick up film cameras. The influence from the outside is to blame. At that time (2008-2009) there was a massive digitalization of the population and it was fashionable to have a digital soapbox or even a DSLR. Of course, having a digital soapbox and knowing its capabilities, I began to dream of a digital SLR camera.
There was no money for it, and somehow it did not work out with permanent work after the army. But the desire to make photos was always. At that time I had a very good phone (then not even a smartphone) Sony Ericssson W890i, and it had a built-in camera with only 3.2 megapixels. At that time, the parameters were already average - top-end mobile devices had cameras up to 8 megapixels!
For lack of any camera, I began to shoot on Sony Ericsson. I still reproach myself for not continued to film.
I selected the best photo works made on a device with 3.2 megapixels.

At that time, I processed much harder. Then everyone loved the HDR effect, but not the one that is now on smartphones, but the wrong one, where there was wild contour sharpness.
Of course, the originals were preserved and I later processed them more moderately.
I replicated all these photos on different media so that they would never be lost. After all, this is the story of my life. This is a turning point, the beginning of digitalization of me. Yes, I later continued to shoot on film, even with a digital SLR.
If suddenly someone ever publishes a story about me with photos, then I would like photos from a mobile phone to be included in the list too.
Each is imbued with a personal story from life.
I think I already had a professional deformation then, although I was not in the profession of a photographer. I saw everything through the prism of the photo.
I guess I needed to go through this stage of the formation of the photographic image. Indeed, at that time I knew only the basic foundations of academic photography and composition.
And shooting by the phone gives you much more freedom.
Even then there were microSD and you could not spare the place for photos.
On digital technology, you can always see the result and if you do not like it, then delete it.
This is freedom. But the film is still hardening and thoughtfulness.
All photos were taken from 2009 to 2010. After buying a DSLR, a couple of months later I lost this phone in the forest.
