Backwater is a neighboring village located near the village of Nizhny Priluk. Only one house has survived, where people still live.
Firsov Vasily Nikolaevich (1951-2010) lived in the village of Zapan - Russian prose writer, storyteller, folklorist.
Two roads lead to the village. One of them is along the river bank.
But for some reason, they are trying to block it carefully so that people can drive along another one that leads nearby through the forest. The road dug in one place.
In another, a bridge was dismantled.
Goats graze on a well-kept lawn, the geese screaming is heard near the house - in such a secluded, but picturesque place, it's probably just ideal to live with your own household.
Nobody came to me here, and I, in turn, did not disturb the inhabitants of this house.
Judging by what the owners of the Backwater village are doing with the road, they do not want anyone to bother them over trifles.
Near the shore in a clearing are visible the contours of a former house.
I went further along the shore to look at another noisy stream, merging with the quiet and calm Sukhona. Then I began to photograph the village of Rovdino, which is located on the opposite bank of the river. It turns out that someone lives there: having approached a photograph on the camera screen, I saw a man! I wish I could go there... But it’s only possible by boat or you need to go on foot when the river freezes.
Wherever I am in Sukhon, there are always visible turns. There probably is no place on this river for a direct place. I envy those people who managed at least once in their life to rafting on Sukhona. You swim and see a turn. What is behind it? And after him again a turn... and so on to the mouth. Just like in our life.
There are very beautiful places on the shore, which are just nice to walk around.
A boat stands far off the coast, I go to her to take a picture.
After all, if she stands there, then the road leads to her, which means I can return back, but in a different way.
And so it turned out. Opposite the boat on the top of the shore are two houses.
And near the house of these boats with a dozen!
Looks like fishermen like to relax here, but those who are not "fishing", but "for fish".
Of course, I like to walk more on foot and always leave the car at the entrance to the village. But this time I really wanted the car to be nearby.
Going down is always easy, but overcoming steep, long climbs is not easy. Exercise is beneficial until the body is worn out. I won’t say that I overdid it very much, but it was tiresome to get back on foot.
The end.
October, 2019
I would like to devote a separate post to the village of Rovdino.
