This autumn, I devoted a lot of time to nighttime architectural cityscapes. This is the world of postcard photography. The sense of reportage in the process was at the level of 5%.

These five percent are now present in almost every shoot, but that’s not enough to consider my inner state a reportage wave.

It will be interesting to read about all this later and reflect on what kind of wavelength I was on at the time.

It’s going to snow soon, and I’ll want to capture it as an event.

But if I don’t have time for that, I won’t be upset. That’s what the vision of the world is in relation to different reporting waves‑worlds.

But if I do find the time and decide to depict snowfall as an event, I’ll first create a mandatory foundation in the form of a stream, showcasing people’s interaction with the snow, and then I’ll focus most of the time on the response — the graphics and the moments that capture the viewer’s attention.

By the way, on the same wave that I’m on now, minimalism is making a comeback!

I believe that the result of tapping into this creative wave is the manifestation of my desire to experience the maximum amount of cosmic energy this year — that is, emotional, metaphysical, and spiritual sensations from the process of photography and life in general.

And the mechanism for fulfilling a wish is a mindset, a goal, and its realization, not mysticism.

You can call it mysticism, but it will still be a psychological and even physical process of reshaping the body and consciousness, and perceiving the world in accordance with the given vector.

Any wish we make sets in motion certain processes that lead to its fulfillment, and we almost always ascribe an illusory mystical quality to this process.

...But how did it happen that I didn’t want winter in 2025, and it didn’t happen? And then I wanted winter in 2026, and it was snowy? Two coincidences in a row? Moreover, the realization of the desire affected the world around me, not just me. Isn’t this a substitution of my perception of the desired surrounding world with future weather conditions? Like, if winter will be not very snowy, then somehow I must want it to be not very snowy, and vice versa...
