Hello, everyone! I see people sharing their goals, so I decided to jump on the board and share my Hive goals for 2024. I've been a crypto user since 2017, and I wish I had found out about Hive sooner because I love how the Hive economy works. There are thousands of opportunities for everyone to grow their accounts, build new projects, find new friends, improve their writing skills and more. I joined Hive a year ago, and after exploring it I took my account growth seriously and started posting actively since August. Now It's time to share my realistic goals for the upcoming 2024:
My HBD$ Savings Goal
Ever since I became interested in finance, building passive income sources has been my first priority. Therefore, most of my holdings are in HBD$, and currently, I have close to 200 HBD in my savings account, making about 3 HBD per month. Most of the Hbd I made is coming from my risky investments and last month I built a budget cpu mining rig so instead of cashing it out my mining earnings I buy Hbd with it.
So, my savings goal for 2024 is to own at least 500 HBD$ by the end of 2024. If the HBD APR stays at 20%, every month I can buy $7.65 worth of Hive to power it up.
My Hive Power Goal
I currently own 342 HP, of which 323 has been delegated to leo.voter with 16% apr . I initially had close to 500 HP but powered down some to convert it to HBD. I stopped powering down to focus on regrowing my Hive Power. My plan is to reach 1500 HP by the end of 2024. Once I achieve this goal, I will probably delegate almost all of it to my favorite projects.
Second-Layer Tokens
With curation earnings, I may start investing in second-layer projects or games, but my main focus will be on growing my HBD and HP. I'm always skeptical when it comes to second-layer tokens because most of them lose their value in the long term. Yes, there are lots of tokens with good economics and backers, but I'd rather be on the safe side and grow my account slowly.
Play2Earn Games
I'm not a fan of Play2Earn games either, as it reminds me of casinos where the house always wins. I remember playing Gods Unchained because it was fun and challenging, much like chess. However, most games on Hive are all about farming and grinding. If you're enjoying and having fun, that's good for you, but I prefer to stay away from Pay2Earn titles.
How Am I Going To Achieve These Goals?
I plan to convert all my mining rewards into HBD and increase my activity by posting and commenting more regularly. If the Hive price drops, I might consider buying it with fiat, depending on how much spare cash I have . Additionally, I'll explore other platforms to earn crypto ,convert it to Hive and try other strategies to grow my Hive account. Thanks for reading, and have a great day!
