i teach good eating habits to my body rather than my mind. when i first started out, i took one month with no fast food/greasy food. it kind of took a bit of determination and willpower to do it for THAT long, but im sure trying it for a week or a day would herald the same effects. and then after that, my body learned not eating junky foods gave me more energy. and my brain was able to follow, if that makes sense?

dont get me wrong, the unhealthy habits do creep up, but then my body starts screaming "hey we need a salad or some vitamins or something" and the options are either 1) listen to body and eat a salad, or 2) listen to brain and rot, which usually doesnt feel very nice. which atp sometimes the dissociation wins but thats okay, it happens. but as for the day-to-day, normally body wins
tldr when im blitzed out of my mind dissociating my brain and body cant communicate so my body runs on autopilot, so i teach my body what feels good instead of trying to force them to communicate
things ive done include: 1 month no fast/greasy/salty foods, and 1 month no added sugar (i had to do this one twice before my body learned, though!), but im sure there were others ive just forgotten because like i said.
