Cucumbers are popping up. I love watching everything sprout.
Been pretty busy, so the garden has been planted piecemeal, but we got it all in this afternoon before the rain hits.
Already planted tomatoes, peas, beans, corn, a few different kinds of squashes, radishes, turnips, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, chard. Probably too late for the brassicas, but worth trying. Will wait for fall to do kale, spinach, etc.
Today will be carrots, cabbage, beets, peppers, chilis, cukes. Got quite a few herbs and flowers I'll be trying out, and of course sunflowers and milkweed everywhere.
Oh, watermelon and pumpkin. Got a jar saved from last year that I'm essentially just "yeeting" everywhere, heh.
Works nice around borders to prevent weeds.
Potatoes are in bloom already.
I don't remember seeing purple blooms before. We've got Yukons, Kennebecs, and some sort of red. Yukon Gold is my favorite variety I've tried so far. Definitely worth spending a little extra on in the supermarket, imo.
