Greetings dear readers today I give life and love to my blog with my consequent participation in the WE 148 of @galenkp who proposed some topics to activate our consciousness from good or evil, I chose the proposal that distracted me to the point of relaxing describing a very particular experience.
The painters and drawersPaint or draw something that represents your love of the planet and nature. Photograph it and write a post of at least 300 words to explain what you've created. No digital art is permitted! This has to be done the old-fashioned way with paints, pencils, crayons, charcoal, chalk etc.
Traditional drawing product of a moment of inspiration made with: pencil, crayon pen, chalk and markers on white cardboard.
Since I was a child I have been a fan of drawing and when I can or want to I get inspired and make illustrations, but usually I must have a very personal motivation to create. If someone comes to me and asks me to make a drawing, without thinking about it, my stamp escapes, which is based on very particular cartoons, I have as a reference and admiration the work of the comic artist Quino creator of Mafalda and Schulz creator of Snoopy and Charlie Brown.
My inspiration drawings have the particularity of not having strong color palettes, I tend to work with soft tones emulating a little bit the technique of gouache with crayons and chalks. As for the caricatures are usually heads of small bodies presenting childish features, they are flat that is to say presenting action in a frontal way, I have tried to work the perspective and angles, but I find it difficult, I understand that with practice and discipline I could achieve it, the thing is that I draw for hobbies and according to my feelings.
Illustration of my authorship for a personal story
All this preamble is to justify my next drawing which I made certainly to participate in the We 148 that gave me the reason to describe in it my feelings about an experience I had last Sunday when I went to my Biodanza session whose theme was Nature and voice, which we did outdoors in the Francisco de Miranda Park, known as Parque del Este Caracas - Venezuela.
There we were five women honoring the earth and everything that comes from it, before dancing, we had an affective conversation on the subject of the diaspora and how many people are still leaving to other latitudes in search of better quality of life, together with that we expressed our feelings about the planet and what each one does from what is possible to care for and sustain this little piece where we are, which is part of our big blue ship that asks us to take care of it.
Then there were no more words, under the guidance and care of our facilitator, little by little we felt her instructions that personally, as I surrendered to each experience my emotions became present, as I let myself be carried away by the sound of nature and some suggested native songs. Thus I flowed between natural movements without stereotypes with which I consolidated once again my love for this land that sustains me to which I owe gratitude.
When I had the possibility to do a free flowing dance, with my eyes closed I remained static, feeling the breeze, the sun piercing the foliage of the trees, an exquisite silence was the perfect melody that invited me to make soft movements between my trunk and my arms that I instinctively carried where my body required it, my heart and my belly.
It was no coincidence that at that moment I was menstruating, being so I felt the fluid of my blood drop by drop falling on my towel, like the sage of a tree responding to its nature. Hands on my heart and belly were my certainty of love and care that our "gaia - pachamama" deserves and needs so much, whose identity according to the native peoples is WOMAN, as the mother that gives life and sustains.
After other experiences to activate us, with the proper self-regulation and firm feet on the ground to go back to the daily city, I was grateful for that moment of deep connection that allowed me to return to the origin and feel part of the whole to continue doing my own thing in favor of our blue ship.
I make this type of drawing after each Biodanza experience that has been transcendent for me, where the characteristics of what I illustrate are undoubtedly a manifesto of my identity, feeling and experience of the moment, which in the eyes of others can have multiple meanings as in all art.
