Not the nip slip kind but an actual wardrobe that doesn’t work for me.
We have one build in wardrobe that in theory has lots of space but in reality doesn’t function. It feels like a deep dark hole where clothes go to die.

When I can’t see my clothes, I think I have none. That’s why I end up wearing the same stuff that is always just piled up on that desicnated chair of half used clothing.
I don’t think clothes like being in a closet at all actually, they just get wrinkled and start smelling stale very easily because they can’t breathe.
I finally got fed up with my wardrobe situation and came up with a plan to resolve it, at least partly. I send the man to the hardware store to get supplies and build me store-like clothing rails that hang from the ceiling. We have 3 metre high rooms so there is plenty of space up top and it’s about damn time to start using it.
After a few hiccups on the way, we got the rails hung up and I got to start playing with them. I need to Konmari my whole wardrobe and throw away clothes that I don’t like, are too worn and don’t fit well, but now I have more space to display the clothes I actually like. When I get everything done I can easily rotate stuff in and out according to season.
What I’m still looking to add for this space is an antique display cabinet where I’ll put my heels in, a huge mirror, a persian rug, velvet stool and a big chandelier. That’ll set me back some 5000€ at least so I think it’ll be a while. A girl can dream!
