Lord have mercy. In a way I do understand the little girl; how we present ourselves does matter, but it's definitely more nuanced than wearing makeup or not wearing it. I must be an optimist because I think the filters and Photoshopped images on Instagram don't actually mean shit because we see real humans every single day of our lives. I hope I'm right.
