Last year on Steemfest 2 in Lisbon, I noticed a lot of people handing out business cards, I still have a few tucked away in a memento box. I of course didn’t have any cards of my own, since I’m not running a business, but I thought it was nice to have something tangible from a person you talked to.
For the past year, on most Sundays, I do a set of Sunday Polaroids, that are always self portraits. I’ve had a bit of a break with them but I’ll get back to it soon. I have accumulated a huge stack of them and for a long while I had no idea what to do with them. I even asked you if you had any ideas, and a few suggested that I should sell them. It’s kind of an okay idea, but I don’t know who would want to buy them and if someone did, then I would have to be mailing them out and I’m lazy.
Then an idea struck me. I would use them as my business cards! All I would do is put my username under the picture and that is it, the picture itself will do most of the talking. So now I’m selecting polaroids and dymo-ing(?) my username to them, which is taking it’s sweet time, but it’s kind of fun. I’m not sure yet how many I will make, maybe 50+, I know I won’t be talking to every Steemian attending Steemfest so I won’t make 300 cards.
All of the polaroids are one of a kinds, and some might even be rare ones that the blockchain hasn’t seen before. There are both black&white and coloured ones, some nice and some naughty. Ask for a nice one if you are afraid your wife might get mad finding it in your jacket pocket after the weekend.
