The snow has turned into rain and it’s absolutely pouring, but I don’t mind a bit because I have the coolest rain boots ever.
I treated myself for my birthday with a new pair of red bottoms, arguably the most sensible pair to date. When I saw these the first time as they launched, I immediately knew I needed them in my life but would I spend that kind of coin for plastic?
Last week I was checking Vestiaire, a marketplace for second hand designer clothing, shoes and accessories, and I saw my dream wellies. Used once, and 200 euros cheaper than they retail, an easy choice for me. They are a size bigger than most my shoes but that’s fine as I will be wearing them with wool socks quite often.
I own a few pairs of Louboutins already and I know these will for sure have the best cost-per-wear. There are not that many situations where I can gracefully wear my stilettos, but to stomp around in rain boots with a block heel, that’s appropriate for 8 months out of the year. These ones are so chic that I would totally wear them with a dress in the autumn and I don’t think they even look like wellies even though they are.
