Me and my plants have been suffering from the lack of sunlight grately. This time of the year what ever sunlight there might be, does not come in direct contact with my apartment because the sun is so low that it hides behind other houses. We are down to less than 6 hours of daylight here, and us mere mortals require more than that to function properly.
I remembered I had a spare table lamp that’s more decorative than functional, but switching out the bulb for it could help me and my green friends. I went and got the brightest light the store had, and it’s so bright it hurts to look at it, so probably pretty good.
If it looks like my plants perk up with their new light, I’ll get more of the same kind. I do have three spots in my cealings that are still missing lamps even after two years of living here, might need to actually put those to use. I did manage to pick up the correct bulb to my bathroom cealing light today, after probably not having it on at all during the time I’ve lived here. It wasn’t something a regular store carried so I just couldn’t be bothered. But I do like having light.
I’ve spend most of my money this year on lights so I guess I’ll just keep adding to that. Let there be light, one way or another.
