You know what? I don't force anything. If I'm not feeling it as a writer, I don't write. I'll go watch a horror movie instead.
If I'm not "feeling it" enough to construct a full post, I'll leave comments like this one. No pressure, right? Easy peasy.
When I do write, I take frequent breaks between sessions. A couple of days ago, I wrote a monstor 1500 word post that flowed out of me like water. BUT. It took several days to build that puppy. aresearching, and looking things up were done over time.
Then comes the multiple re-writes and proofreadings, and THEN, I let a post SIMMER, until I'm ready to publish. (I tend to get great last-minute ideas for the post this way, which is why I do it).
Don't force anything. Go with the flow and post when you FEEL it.
