• Charlottesville wasn't a standard protest. It was a social blasting cap. An open invitation to a public fist fight between the left and right. A fight orchestrated to create widespread social disruption. A fight the police didn't want to referee. A fight that was allowed to escalate for hours.

My View

To stay out of trouble don't go where trouble is...or will likely be. Avoid crowds. In this case the weapon was a car driven by a leftist. In other cases the weapon is a gun or a bomb. Either way the people who do this kind of thing seek out target rich environments, which makes their chances of hurting or killing people much better.

As in ALL contrived (aren't they all) incidences of this sort...we have NO CLUE what actually happened. The reports contradict themselves. The news media INTENTIONALLY spin the story to fit their own narrative. Who knows what, why, when or who?

What we think we know today...will change a hour from now.

So my take is...don't get involved. Don't BE where anything like this can happen. If you see something heating up...unass the area.
