Wisdom is very essential to our daily living
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. Vs. 5
Wisdom comes in installment and is available to all who are ready to ask, study God’s word and walk closer with the spirit of God; who is the spirit of Wisdom.
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Vs. 15
PROVERBS 2:1-7
My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, Vs. 1
turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding— Vs. 2
indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, Vs. 3
and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, Vs. 4
then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. Vs. 5
For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Vs. 6
He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, Vs. 7
It is actually saying you should receive God’s word and instruction because in the process, you will be wise. The time spent with God’s word is never wasted.
If you are driving out of town in an area you have never been before and you see a sign post on which is written: NARROW BRIDGE AHEAD – this is information. The revelation here is the implication of that information: that the bridge cannot take two vehicles at a time and the realization that someone else may be on the bridge on you.
God can give you wisdom through a gift of the spirit.
