PSALMS 89:34
My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Vs. 34
NUMBER 13:30-33
Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, "Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it." Vs. 30
But the men who had gone up with him said, "We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we." Vs. 31
And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, "The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. Vs. 32
There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight." Vs. 33
Twelve people were sent the land of Canaan, but ten came back with evil report saying the sons of Anak are like giants while they were as grasshoppers in their sight. The news caused panic among the people of Israelite but only Joshua and Caleb came back with a positive report.
NUMBERS 14:24
But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it. Vs. 24
What gave those two men the boldness to come back and spoke with courage even after the ten people they went with came to give evil report was that they had another Spirit which was the Spirit of God in them and they knew there God that He is a covenant keeping God.
NUMBERS 14:6-9
And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes: Vs. 6
And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land. Vs. 7
If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey. Vs. 8
Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not. Vs. 9
He fulfill every covenant in our lives that he has promised us. Unlike men who makes promises without fulfilling, God keeps is covenant and fulfills it.
JUDGES 2:1
And an angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.Vs. 1
He is a covenant keeping God and whatever He says about our life that comes to pass.
Even when Sarah was old and passed the age of bearing, He made a covenant with Abraham and that He fulfilled even at His old age.
God is a promise keeper and whatever promises He has made to us and our family, not minding the delay, He will fulfill His promises in our lives.
Destiny can be delayed but can never be denied. All He want us to believe His promises upon our lives and stand firm no matter what.
Let us not murmur like the children of Israelite so we don't incur His wrath and perish because of our lack of belief.
NUMBERS 14:11-37
And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them? Vs. 11
I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they. Vs. 12
Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice; Vs. 22
Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it: Vs. 23
And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, Vs. 21
How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me. Vs. 27
Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you: Vs. 28
Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured against me. Vs. 29
Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. Vs. 30
But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised. Vs. 31
But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness. Vs. 32
And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness. Vs. 33
After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise. Vs. 34
I the Lord have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die. Vs. 35
And the men, which Moses sent to search the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up a slander upon the land, Vs. 36
Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before the Lord. Vs. 37
Let us not be afraid of whatever is coming our way, but only be conscious that we serve a Covenant keeping God and whatever His promises for our life shall come to manifestation.
