I don't understand why some people are so eager to call climate change a hoax. I mean, what do you have to lose if it isn't? As a society we can do so much better! Why not accept that humans are guilty of destroying everything around them in the name of capitalism, and assume responsibility?

Does it make you sleep better at night thinking that it's all natural and that we are not directly responsible for the collapse of ecosystems? How many animals have gone extinct because of human intervention? How much pollution have we created? How much deforestation and carbon emissions are we responsible for? I think it's extremely naive to say that it's a natural phenomenon, and that we shouldn't worry about it or act upon it.
