Yes, some the topics mentinoned in the film were cringe all the way, but as yous said,we didn't paid any attention, then. Take for example, Benny Hill Show (I don't know if you have ever watched it, but it had huge success in my country)...Sexist as hell, but people then, including young me, laughed with his antics.
