Vangelis started from small bands in Greece, but what took off his career was the band "Aphrodite's child". In fact, it is important to mention that the band left Greece and settled in France, where it became world famous. They had released one of the most influential progressive rock records, "666", which included "Four Horsemen". Other hits were "Rain and tears", "It 'five o' clock" and more.

And to answer the little challenge, in this band. lead singer was Demis Roussos ... "Ever and ever", "Goodbye, my love, goodbye", "Rebecca" and so on.

After Aphrodite's child, Vangelis started his solo career and continue his ascent to the top.

I plan to write in a post more about Vangelis' music, and specially about "Blade Runner", but I couldn't leave him out of this post.
