Today I wanna blog about my experience buying cards using Credit System on Peakmonster.
As you already aware of, Splinterlands just recently moved to Hive Blockchain, so Peakmonster too. Because wherever Splinterlands go, Peakmonster will follow.
As this blockchain transition take time, Peakmonster features went haywired, Bid System and Rental need to be worked on and it may take some time. I'm glad the established rental contracts not affected.
I still have some STEEM, and now Peakmonster moved to HIVE, it won't accept STEEM and SBD anymore. So I need some workaround to spent my STEEM on the card I planned to buy.
Splinterlands have this Credits feature to simplify buying system.
Because the nature of cryptocurrencies, volatility causing some bad taste on users. So here, you can use any crypto (or fiat USD via PayPal) to buy Credits.
Here I tried to buy using TRX (Tron)
It went smooth, I use Tronlink extension on my Brave browser. TRX is currently on a hike, so I use this opportunity to buy Cards.
After I Accept and confirm the request on Tronlink extension, it only took a few seconds and my Credits roll in.
Neat!
I rarely use Splinterlands Market, I like to browse and shop using Peakmonsters. So, I use the Credits to purchase using Peakmonsters.
It also went smooth and intuitive steps, I just need to confirm from Hive Keychain extension.
What I bought?
A maxed Prismatic Energy. This cards not that special, but there are some rules and conditions that make this card really essentials.
