Why do we exist?

I've struggled with this one for a long time.

I've dealt with depression for countless years now and I've always managed to come out on top of it and conquer it for the most part. My real question in all of these years has been.. does my depression stem from one pivotal question?

Putin deep in thought about why we exist.. trying.. desperately.. to figure it out.. lol :P
I don't care for politics at all, btw, just love putin's face, it's hilarious. ;)

The answer was and is, yes.

Why do we exist?

It's easy for most..

For most people, as I've noticed, it's easy enough to find and attribute their own reasons and idealogies as to why we're here to life. This is something I'm not capable of, as it defies logic to decide to be ignorant.. even when the answer is seemingly always going to be out of reach.. yet most decide to be. They decide to give their life their own meaning, which, in my opinion, is not your true purpose, not your true meaning. Even if the meaning to life is that there is no point.. It's all random.. That's a better answer to me than coming up with my own. At that point, I may just decide to give it a reason.. but until I know the TRUE reason I'm here.. I am and will always be, depressed. I am winning the battle and doing well, especially considering my turn for the worst in the past year with being homeless and now jobless.. but it is a new year and I have HOPE and that will always keep me from drowning.

The point.

The simple fact of the matter is, we do not know definitively why we're here and we may never know.. but I hold out for that day that we do, it gives my life purpose as well as strife to be in the dark on this issue. It is the greatest question of all time as far as mankind is concerned and I am a slave to it's elusive state.. :(
