"If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward." - 1 Corinthians 3:12-14

Fire and Stone

Conscience leads to your body's prostration.

Sore knees betray a practice of humble
Piety and a self perseveration,
Which perseveres through every stumble.
Transcendence heals quick, while ignorance
Is the haughty assumption of mercy.
Do not be swayed by this common pretense
Towards such a casual heresy.
But, as music is not meant for closets,
So to is the song of your soul destined,
Not for your room, but, as I may posit,
For the world, where it may be tested.
So, when the flames come to burn down your home,
Build upon your rock, and always use stone.
