Splinterlands - Beatrix Ironhand

Hello everyone it's your boy @eustace-kidd here for another arterrifc blog!!This week has been very busy for me, a lot of work that needs to be done and finished. Even so, I still made my entry for this week. And for this week I illustrated Beatrix Ironhand from @splinterlands earth deck in my own style!

I created this digital art using mouse and keyboard only 🙂
And below is the process:

First step, I made outlines using adobe illustrator, I had a hard time because I'm not good at drawing with illustrator, I'm more on good using a pencil.😝😝😝

Next step is I save it as PDF then open it in Photoshop,

In applying color for her skin you can just make a skin tone swatches first then brush it any where you like. Then in your Photoshop go to Filter ➡️ Blur ➡️ Gaussian Blur, for them to blend with each other.😃

Then I used clipping mask to hide the excess colors.

In this part I tried to detailed her eyes....

But I skipped it 😆

So I go for her Shuriken, this is my favorite part.

In making emboss effect you can just reduce the brush hardness and just brush it around.

And for the blade of her shuriken I swatch 4colors again, and started putting some details.

And those strings inside I just used the pen-tool to create a net.

Here, decided to changed her eyebrows and make it like a mad ninja or assassin. 🤣

Adding spikes on her Shuriken and putting some daggers on her hands.

In this part I already finalize her skin, I'm so happy with the progress of my work I forgot to take a screen shots on how I did it.

Now it's time to put the background.

Put the circle thing, then.

Kaboom!!

Then I added smokes using brush with two different colors, stands for her Rarity ( Epic ) and her Element ( Earth ).

And finally adding the high lights effect all over Beatrix 😛😛😛

And once again the final output #satisfied ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
