Hello everyone Eustace-Kidd here again welcome to my latest
Lore:
| An Antoid Platoon typically consists of five to seven Fire Ants, each approximately the size of a man's fist. They are well armored and wield shields and spears that, while tiny, provide a formidable defense and offense against the antoid's foes. Operating through a shared hive mind, the Antoid Platoon is employed to defend Ant Miners, other workers, the colony, and its queen. They are also known to become aggressive when invaders encroach upon their homes and surrounding territory. |

Process:
First things first, I sketch it on a piece of paper using pencil for rough and black ball-pen for clear sketch.
After that I scanned the file, open it on Adobe Photoshop..
Then I started to add the base colors,
Now let's add the shadows, first on its helmet.
I shaded first a light shadow then and apply a second pass shadow, a little bit darker than the first one.
Keep on adding the shadows.
Now the highlights, on this part, I forgot to saved the lighter highlights, as you can see in this picture the pinkish part is the mild hight lights and then add again white highlight for more convincing 3D effect.
Now for the background, easily as and drop shadows below and then I merged all the layers to create the bigger version of our artwork.
Send it to the bottom of the layers and reduce the the opacity of the bigger artwork. Then this is the result.
