Extrañamente lejos del mar que comparten el cielo y la tierra, Roraima, una de las mesetas al sur de Venezuela que besa el extremo norte de Brasil y oeste de Guyana, me dejó conocerla en el año 2011, por invitación de unos amigos ingleses, que con mucho afán tenían ganas de conocer este "Mundo Perdido", que es más bien un "Mundo Antiguo", estas formaciones rocosas conocidas como mesetas o como se les llama en Venezuela "Tepuyes", son altiplanicies que datan del período precámbrico, por lo que se considera una de las regiones más antiguas de la Tierra. allí caminamos por 6 días, cruzando ríos, escalando árboles, subiendo y bajando montañas, bebiendo de los riachuelos y apartando arbustos, odiando a los simúlidos.. Así comenzamos esta hermosa travesía...
