3 days ago, I saw a post about a one-time unemployed believer informing his to-be boss about his church itinerary, and the innocent boy was bashed and battered even before we could hear his side of the story…
For all my employers so far, after receiving my appointment letter which will have my job description, and probably the expected hours which I have to work, and salary, there's always an expected response from me the employee…
In cases where there's none, I go through the conditions, if it's not favorable, I pass…
It's not pride, but that's how it should be…
I need to respond to your salary, if it needs to be reviewed, and every other stuffs, and yes, I'll also take out time to inform you about my other place of service in church which will include my days of activities…
I'll tell you that from day 1 so that I'll spare you the stress of having to adjust in case I come up with this information another day…
This is not to mention to you that I'm holier-than-thou…
This is not to tell you that your work is nothing compared to my place of service…
This is not for any negative reason, but that we can have an understanding…
This is to tell you I want to be effective in both…
So, let's say during the weekdays, I have to be in church twice in a week in the evenings from a particular time, "sir/ma, that day can I go to church and come back?… I did this one as a branch manager of a cooperative bank…
Sir/ma for me to close early to meet with church, can I start work early for that day?
Sir/ma for those two days, can I take an extra day to work as to cover up…
Or sir, give me one day out of the two.

Any reasonable boss will understand and know where you're coming from…
They're not animals…
One of my bosses gave me just one day, and told me “hey, Tuesday this is your church, Thursday goto church”
The mindset we have about the place of service in church once we get that job or that success shows our level of understanding as it concerns the place of service…
God is everywhere, can be worshiped anywhere, can be served anywhere, but let one not suffer because of the other…
Let your place of service in church not suffer because you just got a job…
Except there's no way around it… Offshore guys, and the rest, but let it not be that there was a way, and you neglected one for the other…
And also, let's not allow our work to suffer, even God will not be happy...
As I speak to you, I speak to myself …
“You shall serve the Lord thy God (in your church, office, business place), and he shall bless your bread, and take away sickness from among you”..
Let nothing reap us of that…
It is first to God, and then to humanity…
Hence, the best thing we can do for God, and ourselves is to yield fruits…
Apostle John would say “lasting fruits” cos it's in this that our heavenly father is glorified…
Be the best you can be wherever you find yourself, that no one can reject you…
Be indispensable…
Grow both in wisdom and in stature…
Be worth it…
P/S: No be everybody go gree to this, you might be dropped, but, if dem no allow you work, be still and know God has something better for you..
