Hello Hivers and all wonderful farmers here.
Another day, new energy is being activated. Today I decided to try something new. I have never tried this planting system before, just been reading from a post about seedbeds by @mattsanthonyit so today I decided to try it out, I have always wanted to start a spice garden, what do I mean by that, a garden where I will only plant some vegetables which are used as spice for meal, this has always been in my mind but I didn't have the space to start not until I was inspired. Today we bought some spicy leaves from the market to use for stew after using the leaves and said let me use the stem to start a garden.
The reason why I had to consider this planting system is because the back of my compound is so rocky and full of stones. I have planted some vegetables there before but in the end they did not survive well so I had to try another method which is the seedbed method.
I had to look for some rubbers that are no longer useful, cut some into my desire shape and size, I went out of my compound to get a good soil and divided the into each rubber, then I added some animal waste and mixed them carefully, I always prefer using animal waste for my vegetables, it very good and healthy some it instead of fertilizer.
I added water to the already mixed soil with animal waste then I planted my scent leaf and curry stem. This system is really good for me because it has made me sort out what I am planting. I used one rubber for curry leaf, one for scent leaf and the third one I will be planting pepper.
Here are the pictures I took.
