Since the beginning of this year I have made it my business to plant my crops using the seedbed method. Most times it is good to nurture our own seed before transplanting it to its permanent site This will really give you a clue of how the plant started its growth journey.
This year I created out a little space in my dad's compound only for vegetable and spices, this are something we can easy get from the market but I wanted to plant it myself, I know there are so many people out there who consumer must of this plant but don't even know how the plant is been planted, well I was once like that I really love eating rice but didn't know how it was planted not until I decided to visit a rice field. I know we may not really know how everything is planted but the ones around us should have a fair knowledge of it.
Here is my nursing pepper. I spread this seed up to 25 days and here they are already grown ready for transplanting. This morning I decided to transplant them to their own space. I went outside the compound to put some soil into a bag because the compound is full of stone and I don't want that to stop me from planting. That's the main reason I chose the seedbed.
After getting the soil I also got some animal waste from our neighborhood the waste is gotten from goat to be specific, I mixed it up with the soil and then I allow it to stay for three days now.
This morning I transplanted the pepper. During this time you must be very careful not to lose the root of the plant. I carefully planted them in their permanent site and then I watered them.
You can try out this method too get a pepper ball carefully open it and spread the seed on a soil using the seedbed method you can use a bag or a rubber, then keep watering it daily trust me it will grow up in just few weeks depending on the region of where you are and then you can transfer it to the site you want them to grow permanently.
Try it out and you will also have a blossoming pepper farm like mine
