To a lot of religious believer, Sunday morning is one of the most important time they hold the opportunity to communicate. In my family each Sunday, we go to the Church with the purpose of becoming one with the community in faith. As a result, this helps in strengthening relationship among us, or rather in a more technical term it build fellowship among the church members.
That is a good question, but let us ask another one, But why do we go to church? Firstly, we go to worship God because worship is due on him. This is the time that one must prove his or her loyalty to God and appreciate the love and qualities that God has shown. Secondly, we go to church to listen to the word of God and, pray. His teachings are the ways which help us revealing direction and wisdom for our lives. God’s wisdom will indeed help us to overcome the evil in this world of diseases and terrorism in our societies.
Attending church services is important so that the Christians can assemble and pray, hear God, be directed by Him and be calm through Him. It is a period of prayer and fellowship with other people of the same faith or beliefs. Regular attending church services help us to draw nearer and closer to God and equally to one another.
In conclusion, it can be rightly said that the Sunday morning service that Christain practice is a unique way through which they worship God and fellowship with fellow beings. by going to church we pray, study, and develop as individuals and as a community. Let us therefore continue to give this tradition the attention it deserves and through the remaining time make the best of our fellowship in church.
