Before now FACEBOOK has been my favorite social media platform. I spent most of my time on Facebook till I got so used to it, most nights I sleep very late just because I'm chatting.
This was my addiction and breaking from it was very difficult even when my parents had complain about it yet I still find it difficult to break out not until I join #Hive on the 17th December 2021 my entire life changed because of the engagement I have dedicated my time to be doing here, things became different.
I'm not yet one year on HIVE but it has brought out the best version of me in less than one year. Now I have been able to learn, unlearn and the learning is not still stopping, it is becoming more interesting and fun.
But it was not like this on Facebook while I was there iv as busy doing nothing wasting my time because I was not earning from it I don't run any business, so every week I will just recharge my data to active on on Facebook but hive is a hebto learn and earn unbelievable learning and earning at the same time have never heard of it my entire life that someone can learn and earn at the same time until I joined hive.
Where I come from Learners are always indebted to their teachers and this has been my blelive but here in hive there is a community called #Hive-learners where newbies learn and earn at the same time. In the past month I have earn good amount of HBD, HP and lot of TOKENS in my hive-engin.

Impact
I'm one person who normally seeks out answers to any, I like to get involved in contests and challenges on writing and reading at the same time. I know that my first reason for joining was for the money but as time went on I realized that hive is more than money.
I became more discipline
I learnt how to be disciplined since I joined hive, sitting down to get things done in hive takes discipline and consistency, so I have to make plans on how to be making posts and the time I will be spending and try all my best to keep to it. And since then my life was gotten a new shape
Purpose discovered
Hive platform has a whole lot of areas ranging from gaming, programming, writing, singing, gardening and a lot more coming here. I try my best everyday to fit in to what is happening here..
The satisfaction and joy I have being here can't be compared to what I get from Facebook. Getting to meet new people from outside the world with good vibes, purpose and ambitions. These are the things hive has helped me put in place.
