The guy in the hat is the founder of SingularityNET, some blockchain + decentralized AI project. I bought the tokens, but after studying its technicalities, I'm not quite as convinced as the work going into Tau (although Tau is an entirely different kind of AI, un-romanticised and un-hyped just because it's in the intersections of not very well exposed knowledge - not the mainstream stuff, so I'm also hesitant to call it an AI. But buzzword's a buzzword)
