Yes, it seems like we are on that path.
I doubt society has learned from the mistakes of the past. Those in power will again do what they can to stay in power. They will do this while enriching themselves.
Prolonging the inevitable only makes it worse for the common people.

Be prepared for what lies ahead. Cycles are a force of nature and cannot be stopped. Winter needs to come to the financial markets.
