Why Amplitudes Square: Non-Functoriality and the Minimal Representation of Probability
Why Amplitudes Square: Non-Functoriality and the Minimal Representation of Probability
AUTHOR: Evan T. Kotler Abstract The quadratic form of probability in quantum theory is commonly introduced as a postulate or justified through interpretive, operational, or decision-theoretic arguments.

Universality Without Constants: Structural Thresholds and Fixed Points in Admissible Systems
AUTHOR: Evan T. Kotler Abstract Universality in physics is often associated with numerical constants, scaling laws, or symmetry principles. This paper demonstrates that universality can arise in a more

Information Without Probability: Entropy and Channels as Consequences of Structural Compression
AUTHOR: Evan T. Kotler Abstract Information theory is traditionally formulated in probabilistic terms, with entropy and channel capacity defined relative to probability measures. This paper demonstrates

Non-Collapse and the Forced Emergence of Probability in Finite Relational Systems
AUTHOR: Evan T. Kotler Abstract Foundational physical theories typically presuppose probability, identity, dynamics, and background structure. This paper addresses a prior question: what minimal structural
