Imagine if there were no security issues, no traffic and the risk of accidents has been reduced to the barest minimum... What would be your favorite mode of transport? Give us your reasons
I like the fact it the question puts into consideration, security, traffic, and accident issues because if I chose to consider them whenever I want to travel, believe me, I wouldn't even step a foot out of my house, talkless of travelling but let play make-believe that these 3 issues have been completely eradicated from my country Nigeria.
In that instance, my best mode of transportation will be by land precisely in a spacy, well-ventilated car. I love road trips too much not to embark on one as often as I can. I know a lot of people are keen on taking the plane, traveling by air transportation

So let me give you five (5)reasons why traveling by car is the best, maybe when you finish reading this you may change your mind, if not completely but a little at least.
1.EASY STOPS
The freedom to stop whenever you want, however you want. For me the fact that I get to buy those roadside snacks is divine, plantain chips, groundnut, bananas, drinks, and the likes. or is the fact that I can stop and take pictures when I see amazing structures or a beautiful location that I know is picture-worthy.

Maybe I enjoy these stops because of my university days as a geologist. I cannot be in a car and drive past a geological structure that I wouldn't stop and take pictures of. 😂
Besides for long trips, stretching the legs is something that is needed.
2. EXCESS LUGGAGE
you know how airplanes give restrictions on the kg of load to carry, never a problem with road transportation. I hate when I am packing for a flight, I would have to think of an excess luggage fee so I always forget something or leave something behind. but on-road my bag is always full and packed especially when I am coming back from my parent's place, I ensure I use a car back with all the foodstuff and even cooked meal. I never leave there empty-handed.
But the first time I took a flight, I left all my goodies back, it was so painful.

3. CHEAP
I don't mean to sound cheap o but the flight rate these days is completely ridiculous, I can take that money and pay for a private Car and a driver to take me to my designation if it's within the country and I would have excess change left. Traveling by road is cheap and affordable who won't like to save an extra penny.
4. SPACE
The way they build planes for domestic travel these days I don't understand, it can be so tiny, you can feel the person's skin in the next seat. When you complain they say it's the economy side only but even the first-class seats are just spacious by an extra inch or 2 really what is the difference?
Then imagine traveling in a space bus or even our popular sienna car, the space to move your body and head, adjust sear and sleep.
Please what's not to like about road travel?
5. LUGGAGE SAFETY
Do you know how annoying it can be to wait for your luggage after you land from a flight trip especially when you have multiple luggage? I remember something last year when the plane my aunty entered didn't have her box, they mistakenly loaded their luggage on another flight and vice versa, and everyone on the flight was told to return the next day for their luggage.it was funny yet annoying.
But with road trips, you can even take out items from your bag at any time because it is right there looking at you.
Sometimes we don't always have to rush, I understand that taking an airplane is best for most people because of time but some days just take a road trip, enjoy nature, take a deep breathe and relax

But I do love a long drive by road so my favorite mode of transportation is by road.
