The question asked by ecotrain question of tge week is Have you ever witnessed a miracle?

well, I didn’t only witness a miracle I experienced it.

June 13th, 2021, I held my baby in my chest. Ooh, I was so happy he was strong, healthy, and formed perfectly despite the complications I faced. as I stared at him I just couldn’t stop being amazed about how wonderfully made he is with all his organs I couldn’t see, his heartbeat I heard, he's crying, his limbs, his complete fingers, toes, perfect set of eyes, his skin, and his hair, I was in complete awe

See me holding my miracle.

I remember all through the pregnancy I just keep asking ,how is it possible that a full being is being formed right now in my womb?I know science has a lot of scientific explanations to prove the whole process from the sperm cell to the eggs to form a zygote then growing over time to becoming an embryo well all these explanations are not enough to justify all that was happening inside of me all through the pregnancy stage.

Snipshoot from a video showing the first time I held him.

It was indeed a miracle.

I have shared my labor and delivery story a few months back and sincerely no one can tell me any different than being able to get pregnant just a few months after marriage and having the baby successfully wasn’t a miracle even the doctor confirmed it was when he was removing the big mass of ruptured cyst found in my ovaries.

After the surgery, I remember him visiting me and asking so many questions about my pregnancy and how all through the 9month none of the scans I took or doctors I saw when I had so many might complain even himself couldn’t detect I had a mass growth in my womb with the baby.in his words if I can remember correctly

It must have taken a miracle for my baby to grow so healthy and sickness free with the kind of cyst found.

my mum took some pictures and wanted me to see when I was out of surgery but I knew I didn’t need to see it, seeing my baby alone was more than enough and I wasn’t going to let some cyst make me feel any kind of way.

Now when I see pregnant women or even know of anyone trying to conceive I have more respect and appreciation for them, it was a journey I understand how smooth it can be for others and how hard it could be too.

I remember the day I was supposed to be induced a few days before he was born, I watched about 3 women walk in with labor and left a few hours later with their babies while I was still struggling with labor. at a point, I blamed myself for not doing enough, maybe if I have exercised more, eaten less, prayed longer. I had a thousand and one reasons going through My mind Why he wasn’t coming forth.

Not until I had to make myself understand that everyone is unique no matter how long, how short, how painful, or almost unbearable it will be, the end goal is we all make it out with our babies so we can share our individual miracle stories. And truly when I spoke to other mums it even became clearer that it is almost impossible to hear the same delivery story. I guess we all uniquely brought our miracles to the world.

It's been over 6 months but every time I hear of a miracle, aside from the fact I sleep and wake up in good health daily, the next major miracle I think about is the miracle of having a baby.

I am super grateful for the opportunity to even be sharing this right now and I wish above all that anyone seeking this same gift, the miracle of having a child would get it in due time
