In this statement by the Cuban troubadour, Pablo Milanés deepens in his concept of the themes of love and indifference in his songs, and in whose office he maintains a respect for the word and originality by expressing a love song with a poetic sense.

Pablo Milanés composed "The brief space in which you are not" in 1984. It is one of his favorite songs within his repertoire made up of different musical genres (son, boleto, guaguancó, changüí, la guajira are, among others). In this subject we can see the nostalgia and unconditional feelings that can be felt towards the loved one, although it could have other readings, same that the poetry itself gives us in other songs of the author.
