Hola amigos!
Cuando vi la imagen de @shaka para esta semana, recordé el puerto de La Guaira, mi ciudad natal y me dispuse a buscar algo acerca de esta para tener algo de contexto. Descubrí que de hecho esta fotografía también es de un Puerto pero en Alemania, de hecho es el puerto más importante de este país. Ubicado en las orillas del río Elba, cuenta con cuatro terminales de contenedores de última generación, tres terminales de cruceros y todo tipo de cargas a granel, entre otros particularidades. En relación a su gran entrada de mercancías de muchos lugares a nivel mundial es llamado, La Puerta al Mundo

When I saw @shaka's image for this week, I remembered the port of La Guaira, my hometown and I set out to find something about it to have some context. I discovered that in fact this picture is also of a Port but in Germany, in fact it is the most important port in this country. Located on the banks of the Elbe River, it has four state-of-the-art container terminals, three cruise terminals and all kinds of bulk cargo, among other particularities. In connection with its large inflow of goods from many places worldwide, it is called "The Gateway to the World".
