Hello my people HIVE
It is an immense pleasure for me to share on this HIVE Platform, especially in this Live Hive Music Community, the music of today "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". It is a song that first appeared in the American film The Wizard of Oz (1939) , winning an Oscar for the best original song in that same year. It is believed that this song was written especially for Judy Garland (1922 - 1969), the protagonist of the film. The music was composed by Harold Arlen (1905-1986) and the lyrics by Edgar Yipsel Harburg (1896-1981). There are hundreds of versions of this song and one of the most famous is that of the Hawaiian ukulele player Israel (Iz) Kamakawiwo鈥檕le (1959-1997). The Israel version includes some parts of another famous song, What a wonderful world and was included in the Facing Future Album of 1993, with it Israel found an international artistic projection. On this occasion, I bring you a very simple version that I did with the Violin supported by an audio track taken from a video for free use. Here is this simple version.
Es un inmenso placer para m铆 compartir en esta Plataforma HIVE, especialmente en esta Comunidad Live Hive Music, la m煤sica de hoy "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Se trata de una canci贸n que apareci贸 por primera vez en el film estadounidense El Mago de Oz (1939) resultando ganadora de un 脫scar por la mejor canci贸n original en ese mismo a帽o. Se cree que esta canci贸n fue escrita especialmente para Judy Garland (1922 - 1969), protagonista del film. La m煤sica fue compuesta por Harold Arlen (1905-1986) y la letra por Edgar Yipsel Harburg (1896-1981). De esta canci贸n existen cientos de versiones y una de las m谩s famosas es la del ukelelista hawaiano Israel (Iz) Kamakawiwo鈥檕le (1959-1997). La versi贸n de Israel incluye algunas partes de otra famosa canci贸n, What a wonderful world y fue incluida en el 脕lbum Facing Future del a帽o 1993, con ella Israel encontr贸 una proyecci贸n art铆stica a nivel internacional. En esta oportunidad, les traigo una versi贸n muy sencilla que hiciera con el Viol铆n apoyado en una pista de audio tomada de un video de uso libre. Aqu铆 les dejo esta sencilla versi贸n.
Somewhere Over The Rainbow refers to the existence of a wonderful world, where problems do not exist, a world where dreams come true, only and only if they really we want it. Is this a utopia? And why not make it happen? Somewhere Over The Rainbow raises that possibility.
Somewhere Over The Rainbow nos refiere la existencia de un mundo maravilloso, donde los problemas no existen, un mundo donde los sue帽os se hacen realidad, solo y solo si realmente lo queremos. 驴Es esto una utop铆a? y, 驴por qu茅 no hacerla realidad? Somewhere Over The Rainbow nos plantea esa posibilidad.
