As I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring in my ear, I knew it was time to start getting ready for school. I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and swung my legs over the side of the bed, feeling the hard carpet beneath my feet. I began my morning routine, brushing my teeth and washing my face to wake myself up.
As I got dressed and prepared my backpack, I noticed that the back of our lodge was looking a bit messy. There were some rubbish scattered all over the ground, and a few pieces of trash had blown in from the wind. I decided that I would take a few minutes to clean it up before heading off to school.
I grabbed a trash bag and headed out to the back of the lodge. The fresh air and sunshine felt great as I began to pick up the leaves and debris. I worked methodically, making sure to get every last piece of trash. As I filled up the bag, I felt a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. The back of our lodge was looking tidy and neat once again.
With my task complete, I headed back inside to grab my backpack and head out the door to school. I felt proud of myself for taking the time to clean up the back of our lodge, and I knew that it would look great for the rest of the day.
