Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great holiday season full of good times. I'm back with you to continue sharing my work.

This time I have brought another handmade portrait study with acrylic paint and watercolors on cardboard. The truth is that I feel very satisfied with the result since I am just getting familiar with the analog technique. Despite the apogee of digital tools I feel that traditional media are still valid today, as long as handmade human creation continues to be appreciated.

To make this drawing I have first made the portrait in lines placing the main features and volumes together with the shadows. Then I started to give brush strokes with the main tones. I have learned that the most suitable is to work with reduced palettes of colors, so that it is easier for us to maintain an adequate chromatic harmony.

A little bit of the process.

Well dear friends this has been all for this delivery, I hope to return soon to continue sharing my progress. Thanks for your attention.
