Hello everyone! I'm back to continue showing more of my progress in my drawing work, belonging to my series portrait studies.
This time I have brought a quick practice drawing, that is to say that I did it timed in 20 minutes with a pen directly on the paper. The advantage of this exercise is that it helps to have a more loose and spontaneous stroke, which in my opinion brings visual value through the spirituality of the stroke.
Normally I work with a grid to place the different elements in a more accurate way, but this time I have done it in a direct way, from the reference image to the paper.
A little of the process.
I quite liked the final result of the line art, using a thicker line for the edge of the drawing and thinner to apply overlapping wefts in a subtle way in those places where the volumes go, the coloring technique is the same I have been using so far, overlapping layers guided by the base drawing, looking for an integration between drawing and stain.
Well dear friends this has been my post today, I hope to be with you again soon to share more of my work. Thanks for your attention.
