In the job of the digital marketer, there is a strong need for the backlinks. And every day they spend certain amount of time dropping the link to their important pages on various social media, blogs and the other internal sources.
Why? Why this is done?
In order to get attention.
Yes. Everything on internet needs to be linked either knowingly or unknowingly. But it needs to be linked to get attention of people.
So why do we need to add backlinks for Hive?
Let's talk about it.
Internal Links are Super Important
Hive has plenty of front ends. Each having it's own domain name. And when we link, each of those gets repeated in the internal linking of it's own domain and sometimes it links to the original front end domain.
So whenever you find something cool, make sure to link it in your Hive post. Like say you found some cool post on leofinance, link it in your other front end post. Keep the links to relevant content.
By linking to important and relevant things, you get to improve the importance of the pages. And also the attention to those pages is possible through that approach. You would benefit from the internal linking.
Linking to Funnel Pages
I recently learned about the LEO Glossary and the various useful landing pages for the leofinance. And those pages are designed in such a way that it would serve some purpose for the Leofinance traffic.
And that growing traffic would help both Hive and Leofinance. And it would also help in terms of adding more content as the time comes. So more people, more cashflow and more attention. That's what links do in the link economy.
When you link to those important pages, it helps the newbies to understand about the various pages and their use cases too. If we don't link to them chances of google finding them and ranking them also reduces.
Best Practice for Linking
There is no standard document or the guideline. Some people say link as much as you can. Some will say everything in moderation. I am always in the path of below moderation than above. So I stick with 2 to 4 links in a post.
If you can write content which is relevant to the Hive and Leofinance and then get some links from it to other sources. That would be super helpful and also a good practice as you are helping the community.
I think now that market is down. This is a good chance to get more links to some of our pages on Leofinance. And not just here we can link from our external blogs too. All of that would add up for the popularity of the Hive and Leofinance.
